Values & Talent are working with a family-owned business based in Dorset who work for many high-profile companies within the South / Southwest alongside a strong domestic portfolio. As the company continues to grow my client is looking for an experienced Pump Engineer to join the team.
I am seeking a hands-on pump engineer who can work well under pressure, solve problems and is comfortable with working with machinery.
As a pump engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of pumps and related equipment. You will perform routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and ensure proper functioning of the pumps.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair pumps and related equipment
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on pumps
- Troubleshoot and diagnose pump issues
- Replace or repair defective parts
- Test pumps to ensure proper functioning
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines
Key skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of pump systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work

Experience
- Pump Maintenance: 2 years
