The opportunity

Sentinel42 is a London-based cyber security and AI governance consultancy helping organisations achieve and maintain compliance with frameworks including ISO 27001, ISO 42001, SOC 2 and Cyber Essentials. We are launching subscription packages built for the SME market — affordable, ongoing security and compliance support for businesses that need enterprise-grade assurance without enterprise overheads.
We're looking for a driven sales and marketing professional to take these subscriptions to market. This isn't a salaried role with a script and a quota — it's a ground-floor commercial partnership. You build the pipeline, close the deals, and share directly in the value you create, with a genuine route to equity for the person who helps us scale.

What you'll do

You'll own the commercial engine end to end: identifying and engaging SME prospects, running the full sales cycle from first contact to signed subscription, and shaping the marketing that feeds it. You'll work directly with the founder — a 16-year GRC and information security practitioner — with real influence over proposition, pricing and go-to-market strategy. As traction builds, you'll help define what the sales function becomes, because you'll have built it.

Who we're looking for

You're a proven B2B seller — ideally into SMEs — who's comfortable owning a target without a manager over your shoulder. You can generate your own pipeline, you understand subscription and recurring-revenue models, and you know how to sell value rather than features. Marketing instincts are a big plus: you can write, position and build presence, not just close.
Experience selling technology, professional services, or cyber security and compliance solutions would be an advantage — but the right commercial mindset matters more than sector history. Above all, you're entrepreneurial: you want skin in the game, not just a payslip.

The practical bits

This is a self-employed engagement — you'll be responsible for your own tax and National Insurance. Commission structure, residual terms and the equity pathway will be set out clearly and contractually from day one. No smoke and mirrors: if you sell, you earn; and if you build this with us, you own part of it.
