Job Description: Storeman Carrying out general stores and yard duties Managing materials and stock control Booking materials in and out, including overseeing deliveries and collections Managing the issue and return of plant and equipment, including maintaining sign in/sign out records Operating a forklift truck Managing company vehicles, including servicing, repairs, inspections, and general upkeep Maintaining vehicle-related records, including driver eyesight check records Collecting materials from suppliers and delivering materials, tools, and equipment to site locations What We’re Looking For Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or yard-based role Forklift licence preferred, but not essential Full UK driving licence essential Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage paperwork, records, and stock systems accurately Proactive attitude with a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the role Experience within construction, electrical contracting, or a similar environment would be advantageous Basic computer skills beneficial Salary & Benefits £37,000 – £40,000 per annum (depending on experience) 24 days holiday plus bank holidays Profit share scheme Private healthcare (available once CSCS/ECS card has been obtained) Experience: Stores, Warehouse and Forklift: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: Licence (required) Work Location: In person
