Sales Progressor is responsible for managing property transactions from the point a sale is agreed through to completion. The role involves liaising with buyers, sellers, solicitors, mortgage brokers, lenders, estate agents and other parties to ensure transactions progress efficiently and potential issues are identified and resolved promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing a pipeline of residential property sales from offer acceptance to completion.
Liaising regularly with buyers, sellers, solicitors, lenders, brokers and agents to obtain updates and maintain momentum.
Monitoring progress of searches, mortgage offers, surveys and legal enquiries.
Identifying and resolving issues that may delay exchange or completion.
Providing clear and timely updates to all parties involved in the transaction.
Chasing outstanding documentation and information to ensure deadlines are met.
Maintaining accurate records and updating case management systems.
Negotiating and coordinating completion dates between parties.
Managing property chains and communicating any changes or risks.
Ensuring a high level of customer service throughout the transaction process.
Key Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in estate agency, conveyancing, property sales progression or a related property role.
Strong understanding of the residential conveyancing process.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to progressing sales.
Confidence in working with solicitors, lenders and other property professionals.
Competence using CRM and case management systems.
