  We are looking for a confident and creative Photographer & Store Assistant to join our busy Snappy Snaps team. This is a varied role combining photography, customer service and retail duties. You will be responsible for running the studio side of the business while also helping with day-to-day shop operations. Main Duties: • Carrying out studio photography sessions, • Taking professional passport and ID photos, • Editing and retouching images, • Helping customers with photo printing and personalised products, • Assisting with framing, gifts and print orders, • Serving customers and providing excellent customer service, • Helping keep the store clean, organised and running efficiently, • Supporting the team with general shop duties, • Promoting studio packages and helping drive sales within the business Requirements: • Photography experience preferred, • Good understanding of studio lighting and camera equipment, • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator and Lightroom, • Advanced computer skills preferred, • Confident using printing software, email systems and general IT systems, • Friendly and confident with customers, • Good attention to detail, • Reliable, punctual and organised, • Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment Experience in retail, printing or photo lab work would be a strong advantage. Service is fast paced and above all tackled always with a smile, with a huge focus on our lovely customers. During service you will be required to prepare wraps and salad bowls, take payments and to generally run the FOH while a colleague runs the BOH. Great team work between FOH and BOH is key in order for service to run smoothly. Throughout the day you must make sure to keep the entire service area clean and tidy, stopping service quickly for a minute or 2 to clean is absolutely acceptable. Cleanliness is of top priority when serving food! After service you will help your colleague to clean and pack down for the day. Cleaning all equipment and surfaces before helping your colleague load all the equipment away.
