



Host Staffing is delighted to be recruiting for a Senior Sous Chef on behalf of one of London's most prestigious hospitality venues.
Set within a world-renowned cultural destination, this stunning restaurant and bar boasts panoramic views across London's skyline and offers a refined, seasonal dining experience to thousands of visitors each year. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Sous Chef to join a highly regarded culinary team focused on quality ingredients, creativity, and exceptional guest experiences.
Working alongside an experienced Head Chef, you'll play a pivotal role in the day-to-day leadership of the kitchen, supporting menu development, driving standards, and mentoring a passionate brigade.
The Role
Support the Head Chef with the overall management of the kitchen operation
Lead and inspire a team of chefs to consistently deliver high-quality food
Maintain exceptional standards of food preparation, presentation, and service
Assist with seasonal menu planning and new dish development
Manage stock control, ordering, food costs, and waste reduction
Ensure full compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations
Take responsibility for kitchen operations in the Head Chef's absence
Support recruitment, training, and development of junior team members
About You
Currently operating as a Senior Sous Chef, or a strong Sous Chef ready for progression
Experience within quality restaurants, premium hospitality venues, hotels, or contract catering operations
Strong leadership and team development skills
Passion for seasonal produce and modern cooking techniques
Excellent organisational and communication abilities
Commercially minded with experience managing food costs and kitchen performance
Calm, professional, and able to perform in a busy service environment

Premium restaurant and bar operation in a landmark London location
Seasonal, produce-led menus
High-profile clientele and visitors
Predominantly daytime trading
Open daily for lunch and afternoon service
Limited evening operation on Fridays and Saturdays
Package
£47,899.12 basic salary
10% performance-related bonus
Hours: 47.5 hours per week
