The Role:
We are looking for a solicitor with strong commercial awareness and a genuine interest in supporting growing businesses. The successful candidate will advise clients across a wide range of business needs, from contracts and compliance to dispute resolution and employment matters. You will work directly with clients, helping them move forward with clarity, confidence, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and supplier agreements.
- Provide advice on data protection, privacy, and GDPR compliance.
- Support clients with corporate governance, company documentation, and regulatory filings.
- Advise on employment agreements, HR legal issues, and internal policy development.
- Review marketing and website content for legal compliance.
- Deliver early-stage dispute advisory services to minimise risk and escalation.
- Contribute to internal training sessions and knowledge-sharing with client teams.
- Liaise with international clients and provide guidance with awareness of cross-border issues.
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (or working towards a practising certificate).
- Additional legal qualifications or experience in another jurisdiction are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of data protection, privacy, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience in commercial contracts and corporate law.
- Exposure to dispute resolution and early-stage conflict management.
- Excellent communication, drafting, and client-handling skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and work independently.
