Record customer measurements, preferences, and instructions in detail to guide the tailoring process. Attach labels to each garment to prevent errors and ensure correct handling. Modify garments based on customer requests, such as tapering pants, lining sheer fabrics, removing pockets, or adding padding. Alter garments for better fit and comfort, including shortening sleeves or straps, narrowing lapels, and adjusting seams. Repair garments by sewing tears, patching holes, and replacing damaged parts. Construct custom garments and provide customers with cost estimates based on their design ideas and requirements.
