We are looking for a hard-working and energetic Sales Associate who can sell our amazing fresh pasta, in the world's most iconic and luxurious department store, Harrods. What you'll do at Pasta Evangelists: - Ensure the standards with regards to preparation and presentation of the counter are adhered to at all times. - Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and maintenance of furnishings and equipment. - Treat company property with due care and attention. - Adhere to all company policies and procedures to ensure smooth running of the business. - Ensure you are operating world-class service standards that showcase the brand. - Follow processes and procedures to reduce wastage within the restaurant. - Adhere to cash handling procedures set in place by the company. - Maximize sales opportunities through excellent service and upselling techniques. - Respond to changes in the business as required. - Project a positive and professional image to customers and employees. - Handle all customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily and ensure follow up, ensuring any situations are brought to the attention of Managers. - Develop a culture of actively seeking feedback from customers on a regular basis. - Attend daily briefings and respond to any necessary changes and updates. - Enjoy a professional working relationship with your team, ensuring excellent communication. - Be punctual, always following company absence and lateness procedures if unable to attend work as scheduled. - Support the training of new employees. Purpose of the Job: Participate in the preparation of the best fresh Italian pasta and sauces at our factory located in North Acton (NW10). Who you are: - You can work concentrating, paying attention to detail to notice errors on a production or assembly line. - You love working in a team and always try to maintain good relationships with other colleagues. - You know how to complete and report the traceability. - You have experience operating with the butter machine. - You know the essentials of safety and quality standards and procedures. - You can work with minimal supervision and manage your own workload. - You don’t turn a blind eye to issues, but instead you jump on them and have a strong desire to solve them. - … A Pasta lover!! What you'll do at Pasta Evangelists: - Wear your PPE before entering the production area. - Ensure that at the beginning of the shift the temperature is checked in the area you will be working in. - Follow the working area, ask the team leader for tasks. - Check the stock and make sure that all the ingredients are available for starting the production. - Complete and report the traceability to the QA/ team leader. - Work stations to be cleaned and organized at the end of shift. - Follow the Health & Safety and Food Safety Procedures. What you'll do at Pasta Evangelists: - Attend meetings when required - Embrace and embed new changes in PE systems and processes. - Help the Team Leader to train the new starters according to the company guidelines. - Coaching and supporting team members in their development. Highlights high performing individuals. - Track team absences and report them to your Team Leader. - Make sure all statutory and company Health, Safety and Food Hygiene regulations are complied and report to your Team Leader in case corrective actions are required. - Help to create a customer focused environment. - Manage and report all customer complaints (including the food poisoning and Foreign body allegation) in line with company policy. - Implement the lead from the front mindset and set a clear example of Product quality for all to follow. - Consistently seek to maximise the products available at all times, increasing sales and customer satisfaction. - Assist the Team Leader in the communication of Sales Goals, striving to consistently exceed sales targets. - Train the team on all new products enabling them to drive sales. - Maximise the profitability of the Kitchen by understanding and controlling all kitchen costs (e.g. labour, food). - Review all daily paperwork to ensure compliance and report to the Team Leader where necessary.
