We are looking for a full-time production Sous Pastry Chef to be responsible for assisting in the crafting of delicious desserts and confectionery, as well as savoury items and pastry based delicacies. You should be passionate about baking and be inspired to create masterpieces that go beyond our customers’ expectations. To be successful in this role you must be well-versed in the culinary arts and adhere to strict standards of hygiene and cleanliness. This role is very interesting as there is space to grow become a Head Pastry Chef ! Sous Pastry Chef Responsibilities: - Assisting the Executive Chef with the operating and management of the pastry section of the kitchen and liaising with the team to ensure a successful working environment. - Preparing ingredients and handling baking and other kitchen equipment. - Creating pastries, baked goods, and confections, by following a set recipe. - Ensuring their section of the kitchen adheres to safety and health regulations. - Managing a small team of 10 people - Admin such as Rota and Stock orders - Ensuring all orders of all of our four sites are correct and up to quality standards Sous Pastry Chef Requirements: - 3 or more years - Working knowledge of baking techniques and the pastry-making process. - In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, and nutrition. - Capable of working in a fast-paced, production environment. - Experience in managing a team (10 people minimum) There will be 3 stages: Trial Shift | Interview | Reference Check Thank you.

Looking for a hard working Kitchen Porter to work in our cafe kitchen for the following responsibilities: - Cleaning and sterilising countertops, kitchen walls, stoves, ovens, grills and sinks - Cleaning the entire kitchen once it is closed to ensure it is ready for the next day - Maintaining the food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators - Receiving deliveries and organising them in the kitchen - Washing dirty dishes like cutlery, pots, cutting boards and pans or loading dishes into the dishwasher - Removing kitchen waste from waste containers and disposing of them properly - Cleaning and maintaining cooking equipment like cookers, pots and food mixers - Supporting the Chef in basic food preparation like cutting ingredients, peeling and washing food items - Providing assistance to Prep Cooks and other kitchen staff, as needed

Café Manager Responsibilities: - Recruiting, training, and supervising café staff. - Preparing weekly work schedules for staff and finding suitable replacements in cases of staff absence. - Ensuring that all café expenses are within budget and identifying ways to decrease operational costs. - Receiving delivered café supplies and verifying that the correct items and quantities have been delivered. - Taking inventory of café supplies and ordering new stock as needed. - Resolving customer complaints regarding food quality and customer service. - Suggesting new menu items based on customers' preferences and feedback. - Identifying strategies to retain and attract customers.

As a well-established company in the hospitality sector, we are looking for an individual with a proven track record in financial management and a keen eye for detail. We are looking for a part time bookkeeper (16 hours per week) Experience needed in: - Credit control - Reconciliation - Admin - Working experience with "Xero" is preferred. - VAT - Payroll Professional Qualifications: A recognized accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is preferred. Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Bookkeeper or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years in financial management. Software Proficiency: Proficient in using industry-standard accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Office applications. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
