Almond Studio is looking for trainers, instructors, teachers and educators to share their knowledge for our interactive pre-recorded online tutorials. Applicants must have previous experience sewing or hand crafting and will be delivering a series of tutorials which will be posted on our brand new learning platform, created to teach local people how to sew and craft. Tutorials will include sewing machine basics, to learning how to sew a full garment and small accessories. You will only be required to teach the skill of your expertise. Each session will last up to 8 hours. Applicants who are currently unemployed are particularly welcomed. This role will require you to travel onsite to our makerspace in Bermondsey.

About Almond Studio

Almond Studio is a non-profit community-led fashion makerspace making clothing and textile skills accessible to people living in Southwark. Almond Studio runs an online learning platform alongside offline workshops and events. We are a new charity which was set up as a legacy project as part of the Made in Bermondsey project, funded by the Mayor of London’s LEAP Good Growth Fund.
