We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Plant and Vehicle Mechanic to join our inhouse workshop team. The successful candidate will work closely with our Workshop Manager to complete jobs efficiently and timely. This role involves maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of vehicles and construction equipment.

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and construction equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Work closely with the Workshop Manager to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
- Assist around the yard as needed, including moving vehicles, tidying up, cleaning vehicles, and ensuring they are site ready.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a mechanic, ideally with construction equipment and vehicles.
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Must bring and own their own tools.
