URGENTLY REQUIRED due to expansion we are seeking to appoint vehicle mechanics/fitters to join our team providing a comprehensive service within the motor trade industry both for private and fleet services.
With several positions available at Axminster, Kentisbeare and our new Dorset depot, the successful candidates will ideally be experienced in a wide range of mechanics and will be expected to work both as part of a team or on their own, working to tight deadlines and maintaining high standards at all times. Various shifts are available, including night shifts if preferred, but a degree of flexibility is required to suit the needs of the business.
Responsibilities:-
Perform common maintenance and repair operations as well as specialist repairs.
Be prepared to travel to customer's premises and carry out on site repairs as required
Good housekeeping to maintain workshop standard
Mechanical knowledge and experience in vehicle maintenance and repair preferred
Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics an advantage
Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable
