The Role:
As a Vehicle Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of servicing, repairs, and maintenance tasks on all makes and models of cars and light commercial vehicles. Typical duties include:
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Carrying out routine servicing and MOT preparation
- Performing general repairs, including brakes, clutches, exhausts, and suspension
- Using diagnostic equipment and following technical procedures
- Delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer care
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a mechanic/technician (minimum 2–3 years preferred)
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) desirable
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
