- General Responsibilities:
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles.
- Diagnosing vehicle issues using diagnostic tools.
- Carrying out repairs and replacements of vehicle parts.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
- Communicating with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Specific Skills/Experience:
- Essential:
- Proven experience as a qualified vehicle technician/mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, etc.).
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Driving Licence
- Desirable:
- Experience with specific vehicle brands (e.g., Jaguar, Land Rover, Volkswagen).
- Specific experience with hybrid or electric vehicles.
- MOT testing qualification. Not necessary
- Experience with welding or fabrication
