Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
- Present menus, make recommendations, and take accurate food and beverage orders.
- Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure timely delivery of meals to customers.
- Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or requests.
- Upsell menu items and promote special promotions or events.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area, including resetting tables and restocking supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist in opening and closing duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and serving.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Knowledge of food and beverage pairings and menu items (training provided).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
