Pay: £12.50–£21.60 per hour

Douglas Signs is a leading UK sign manufacturer, producing high-quality signage for clients ranging from local businesses to major brands like Harrods and Hotel Chocolat. With most work done in-house, our team gets hands-on experience across the full manufacturing process.
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Metal Worker to help fabricate and assemble metal components for a wide range of signage projects. Your skills will directly support our quality, efficiency, and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate metal parts to specification
- Weld and assemble signage structures
- Operate a hydraulic brake press and other workshop equipment
- Work with the team to meet deadlines
- Keep a safe, tidy workspace
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in metalwork or fabrication
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Competent in welding and general fabrication processes
- Good measurement and basic maths skills
- Experience using a brake press (preferred)
