SCRUM Theatre is seeking a highly organised and proactive Venue Manager to oversee the maintenance, operations, and safety of our new premises in Hammersmith and build relationships with communities who are underrepresented in the arts. The Venue Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering connections with local community groups in Hammersmith, as well as artists across London. They will also ensure the smooth functioning of all facilities and operations in the building, oversee all security and safety protocols, and manage relationships with stakeholders associated with the building. You’ll also be a key member of SCRUM’s democratic collective of theatremakers, as we build an exciting new theatre company and charity focused on making better theatre in better ways for the future. Individuals who may not yet have experience in the theatre industry are welcome to apply. We have secured a two-year ‘meanwhile’ lease on a premises comprising 4 large rehearsal rooms, two performance spaces, and a shared co-working space. This position is initially contracted for 3 months, with the aim of transitioning into a long-term role within the charity. The Venue Manager will work 3-5 days a week for the first month to help turn an empty space into a vibrant arts hub. Following that, you will work 2-3 days per week to oversee running and maintenance of the building after we open to the public, as well as acting as point person for our booking system, managed in collaboration with Theatre Deli. Employment duties Provide high quality dental treatment in line with current theory and practice, while treating patients with empathy and understanding Maintain the required professional registration, indemnity and insurance Manage own programme of continuing professional development to maintain and improve own professional knowledge and competence and to meet the GDC requirements Follow all practice policies and procedures and maintain standards of infection prevention and control in line with current theory and practice Treat patients with empathy and understanding Establish, promote and maintain productive working relationships with all team members to provide high standards of care and service to the patients in line with the practice policies and procedures Liaise with the practice owner on all matters concerning administration, pay and service conditions Supervise the assisting dental nurse in regard to clinical matters Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work Key tasks Offer dental treatment to the patients in line with the dentist’s skill, experience and the GDC’s ‘Scope of Practice’ including: Diagnose disease Prepare comprehensive treatment plans Prescribe and provide endodontic treatment on adult teeth Prescribe and provide fixed and removable prostheses Carry out oral surgery Provide oral health advice and care Carry out periodontal surgery Extract permanent teeth Prescribe and provide crowns, bridges, veneers and cosmetic dentistry Carry out treatment on patients who are under general anaesthesia Provide conscious sedation Prescribe medicines as part of dental treatment Prescribe and interpret radiographs Additional skills which a dentist could develop after appropriate training: Provide implants Provide non-surgical cosmetic injectables Prescribe and provide fixed orthodontic treatment Refer to a suitable practitioner if the treatment is outside of your sphere of knowledge and/or experience Recognise where supervision is necessary and refer appropriate difficult professional or clinical issues to the practice owner Take part in the emergency rota as directed Maintain good lines of communication with the practice team in the best interests of patients Obtain valid consent from patients before starting treatment, in line with the current guidelines and the practice policy Ensure that all clinical dental notes are comprehensive, contemporaneous and complete and are available for inspection at the premises at any time Keep up to date with and practise in line with current NHS (where appropriate) and GDC regulations as well as with the guidance from the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners and NICE Keep up to date with health and safety requirements Attend practice meetings and training sessions when requested Observe correct professional behaviour and promote a positive image of the profession and the practice at all times Keep confidential all patient, business and practice information Work actively with the practice owner to develop the practice and implement the business plan
Position: Property Housing and Estate Manager Location: 29 Chesnut Grove, Mitcham, England, CR4 1RE Job type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Up to £25,000.00 - £30,000.00 dependent on experience (plus bonus structure) We are looking for Job holders with the experience of managimg shopping centres, residential areas and private estates, and arrange for the sale, purchase, rental and leasing of property on behalf of clients and employers. Responsibilities: · Determines staffing, financial, material and other short- and long-term requirements; · Manages general upkeep, maintenance and security of the estates amenities; · Makes sure that the amenities meet health and safety standards and legal requirements; · Advises on energy efficiency; · Discusses clients requirements and may advise client on the purchase of property and land for investment and other purposes; · Conducts or arranges for structural surveys of properties and undertakes any necessary valuations of property or agricultural land, and deals with grant and subsidy applications; · Negotiates land or property purchases and sales or leases and tenancy agreements and arranges legal formalities with solicitors, building societies and other parties; · Maintains or arranges for the maintenance of estate accounts and records and produces financial forecasts; · Acts as arbiter in disputes between landlord and tenant and ensures that both fulfil their legal obligations; · Examines and assesses housing applications, advises on rent levels, investigates complaints and liaises with tenants association and social workers to resolve any family problems.
