The Venue Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering connections with local community groups in Hammersmith, as well as artists across London. They will also ensure the smooth functioning of all facilities and operations in the building, oversee all security and safety protocols, and manage relationships with stakeholders associated with the building. You’ll also be a key member of SCRUM’s democratic collective of theatremakers, as we build an exciting new theatre company and charity focused on making better theatre in better ways for the future. This role supports the two HR Managers with general HR duties, including disciplinary, grievance, absence meetings, DBS/Screening and ensuring our work complements the work within the Business Units and adds value in terms of perception, actions, and communication. Job Duties Onboarding: Carry out DBS/Screening processes when due, ensuring that the company is always compliant. Pro-actively seek to mitigate any potential delays in processing candidates / employee files, seek solutions and keep key stakeholders up to date on any delays in the process which may affect the provisional start date. Manage and conduct weekly new starter inductions. Policies and Guidelines: Ensure compliance with UK employment law, regulations, and company policies. Drafting routine correspondence and document templates (e.g. forms, letters, checklists, spreadsheets, emails etc) Employee Relations: Collate and analyse key data and present reports in a user-friendly and professional manner. Collate and produce administration packs for cases - investigations, disciplinary, grievances and employment tribunals. Organise meetings in relation to case management - e.g. booking rooms, ensuring that all attendees have the meeting details, sending out invitations, sending out administration packs. Advise on procedures and case process as required. Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on a variety of sensitive employee relations issues. Support the administration aspects of casework management and support at meetings as appropriate including note taking. Apprentices/MSD NextGen: Act as key contact and mentor, supporting the development, sharing learnings, and maintaining effective communication. Apprentices – Monthly check ins and facilitation. MSD NextGen - Coordinate employee training programs and maintain training records and budget requirements. Play a pivotal role in MSD’s NextGen Programme and Social Responsibility Committee, co-ordinating the early years training and development program to enhance employee growth. Field Care Supervisor spends 80% of their working week in the field, the balance being spent in the office to complete their necessary administration. • Working hours will be flexible. • To undertake assessments for new packages within 48 hour, first QA after two weeks. • Conduct Risk Assessments as part of the Individual Needs Assessment and to update these as required as part of the Service User's risk management (Re-assessments at 6-monthly intervals for double-handed service users, and annually, or as required, for all other service users) - Some urgent visits maybe required during the week. • Report any changes in a Service User to the Care Coordinating Team. • Monitor all Service Users for customer satisfaction. • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all documentation held in Service Users' homes. • Ensure that all written reports and administration is up to date and signed off by Operations Management Team. • Liaise closely with the Senior Care – Coordinator/Operations Management Team and report back regularly on activity in the field. • To attend service user reviews as required by the Local Authority. • To record on the system the outcomes of all such reviews. • To carry out spot visits to Service users’ homes whilst Care Workers are in attendance when required. • Responding to complaints and queries from service users.
We are looking for a full time Head Bartender to push our drinks offering to the next level. A great knowledge of agave spirits is fundamental. As we are ready to open our third space (all in the same building) we need someone to supervise and keep standards in all bars. A bit of background: Bar 1 is a cozy more exclusive dinning area with table service. Exclusively agave cocktails. Bar 2 is a weekend cantina with dancing and DJs playing bangers until 2am. Mostly agave, draught beer, spirit + mixers, shots. BAR 3 Is our new upcoming bar featuring local craft beer, some classic cocktails but mostly agave cocktails.
