AdicoCare is a family run business with 12 Learning Disability residents.We are currently seeking a Support Worker to join our Lakeside and Ashbridge supported living. Both Locations is a 24-hour supported living scheme supporting adults with high mental health support needs to build the skills to move on independently. The shifts you will be working is Long days (8AM-8PM)n or short days (8Am-2PM, 2PM-8PM), you will be working on a rota bases which will be weekdays and alternative weekends. AdicoCare is looking for a caring person who shares our values and likes helping others is far more important than experience. You must have at least three months UK care experience. We follow the ethos of Positive Behaviour Support, engaging individuals in active support and focusing on community participation. You will support individuals to access meaningful activities in the community and on-site, work with families and professionals and support opportunities to promote daily independence and well-being. We specialise in working with women and families who face multiple disadvantages and complexity of needs. The role of Support Worker will be responsible for providing advocacy and support for women and children who have been subject to domestic abuse. The successful candidate will be part of a team providing a great supported living environment within our communal and dispersed accommodation and in the community settings. You will provide personal welfare support and ensure that families are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment along with practical, emotional and safety planning. A full Enhanced Disclosing and Barring Service check will be required for this post. We are looking for a full time Head Bartender to push our drinks offering to the next level. A great knowledge of agave spirits is fundamental. As we are ready to open our third space (all in the same building) we need someone to supervise and keep standards in all bars. A bit of background: Bar 1 is a cozy more exclusive dinning area with table service. Exclusively agave cocktails. Bar 2 is a weekend cantina with dancing and DJs playing bangers until 2am. Mostly agave, draught beer, spirit + mixers, shots. BAR 3 Is our new upcoming bar featuring local craft beer, some classic cocktails but mostly agave cocktails. Things we are looking for: - Agave expert (or very passionate) - Comfortable with "clubby" environment as our cantina can get quite loud and 'dancy' on the weekend. - Be able to create a training plan for current and new bartenders. - Attention to detail and keeping standards throughout the venue. - Big initiative to improve cocktails with innovative flavours and/or techniques. - Above all a passionate and friendly comrade who's looking to join a hospitality family.
