FDC is known for its friendly, experienced team and patient-centered approach, focusing on comfort, clear communication, and tailored treatment plans. New patients are welcome and can book appointments online or by phone, making access to care straightforward and convenient. Role Description This is an on-site Dental Receptionist role based in London. The Dental Receptionist will greet patients, manage check-in and check-out processes, and ensure a welcoming and professional front-desk experience. Responsibilities include handling incoming phone calls, responding to patient inquiries, booking and updating appointments, and maintaining accurate patient records in practice management systems. The role also involves coordinating with clinical staff, managing payment processing, and supporting the smooth daily operation of the practice. The Dental Receptionist will uphold patient confidentiality and contribute to a calm, organized reception area. • Candidates should possess strong Appointment Scheduling skills, including managing calendars, coordinating follow-up visits, and handling changes efficiently., • Candidates should possess basic Dental Care awareness to understand common treatments, terminology, and patient pathways within a dental practice., • Candidates should possess professional Phone Etiquette skills, including clear communication, polite call handling, and accurate message-taking., • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with patients and team members from diverse backgrounds., • Candidates should possess core Receptionist Duties capabilities, such as front-desk management, record keeping, and payment handling., • Relevant experience in a dental, medical, or healthcare reception environment is beneficial., • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy setting are desirable., • Proficiency with basic computer applications and practice management or booking systems is an advantage., • Training or qualifications in customer service, administration, or healthcare support are beneficial.
