Key Responsibilities:
Marinate chicken and lamb using traditional Indian spices and techniques.
Prepare traditional tandoori dishes including tikka, shashlik, and sheek kebab while ensuring authentic flavour.
Plate and garnish tandoori dishes according to our restaurant standard.
Maintain precise portion control and presentation standards across all tandoori items.
Monitor and control the tandoor oven to ensure optimal cooking conditions throughout service.
Work closely with the Head Chef to plan and create tandoori menu items.
Manage inventory of the tandoori section and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
Maintain hygiene in all kitchen areas in line with food safety standards.
Train and supervise junior kitchen staff where necessary.
