Responsibilities: - Supporting the management and supervision of nursery staff, including hiring, training and evaluating performance. - Supporting the development and the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum and activities for children. - Ensure compliance with all regulations and health and safety standards. - Liaising with parents/carers regarding their child’s progress or any concerns. - Supporting with all systems and processes including staff development in preparation for OFSTED. - Create a warm and welcoming environment for children, parents, and staff - Leadership of daily operations, including scheduling, record-keeping, and maintaining inventory of supplies. About the Nursery The nursery welcomes children aged between 3 months and 5 years old and is open 51 weeks a year from 8am to 6pm. We provide a loving culture and creative exploration through the eyes of the child. By building on Montessori methods and linguistic arts, we have developed our unique curriculum. As a result, we prepare a child to excel in their foundation years and then move through life with a strong ability to achieve excellence. Main duties and responsibilities: · Full responsibility overseeing the rooms incl. children developments and staff practises .
