Your Role\n As a HVAP Shift Lead, you will oversee critical building operations in a mission-critical environment. Your leadership will ensure compliance with safe systems of work while maintaining the performance and reliability of essential M&E infrastructure. What We Offer\n In return for your expertise, you’ll enjoy: \n\n • A competitive salary with regular overtime opportunities\n, • A basic shift pattern of 4 on, 4 off, 6 on, 4 off, 4 on, 6 off, including both Day and Night Shifts\n, • The opportunity to work in a technically complex and prestigious environment\n, • Ongoing support, training, and career development opportunities\n, • A diverse and inclusive team culture that values your contributions\nKey Responsibilities\n\n, • Lead and coordinate shift engineering operations within a critical environment\n, • Monitor and manage plant performance via BMS and CAFM systems\n, • Ensure all PPMs, reactive tasks, and statutory compliance activities are completed within SLA\n, • Manage HVAP responsibilities, including isolations, permits to work, and safe systems of work\n, • Oversee incident management, escalations, and emergency response procedures\n, • Maintain accurate shift logs, technical reports, and operational documentation\n, • Supervise contractors and engineering teams to ensure safe and efficient delivery\n, • Support energy efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives\n, • Provide shift cover and operational support when required\nRequirements\n\n, • NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent\n, • 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations qualification\n, • Previous experience in a critical environment, data centre, or high-profile commercial site\n, • HV Authorised Person (HVAP) status is essential\n, • Strong understanding of critical M&E systems, BMS, and CAFM platforms\n, • Experience leading engineering teams in a shift environment\n, • Excellent knowledge of health & safety and statutory compliance\n, • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills\nBenefits\n We’re committed to evolving our benefits to attract and retain great talent.
