Technical Manager Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire | Full-time | On-site At Shanly Homes, we don’t just build houses. We’re looking for a Technical Manager to join our Beaconsfield office and take ownership of the technical delivery for our premium developments. What you’ll be doing You will lead the technical process from planning through to handover, ensuring information is produced, reviewed and distributed on time, within budget and to the highest quality. • Manage working drawings, specifications and consultant outputs, • Review design details to ensure practical, cost-effective and high-quality solutions, • Coordinate planning, design freeze, regulatory approvals and warranty requirements, • Oversee Building Regulations compliance and the discharge of planning conditions, • Arrange and assess surveys (site, soil, contamination etc) and technical reports, • Manage service connections, disconnections and statutory agreements (Section 38/104/278), • Drive value engineering and quality control across projects, • Act as CDM Coordinator, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety standards, • Track budgets, approve consultant payments and maintain cost accuracy, • Stay up to date with regulatory changes, new methods and innovative building products About you • Proven technical experience in residential housebuilding, managing multiple projects, • Strong knowledge of Building Regulations, planning policies, NHBC requirements and CDM, • Confident coordinating consultants and reviewing technical designs, • Detail-driven with excellent problem-solving and communication skills, • Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment What we offer • Friendly, supportive team culture with strong collaboration across departments, • Newly renovated Beaconsfield Old Town office, modern and close to cafés and restaurants, • Financially strong, privately-owned business with long-term stability, • Competitive salary and car allowance, • Discretionary annual and long-term bonus schemes (up to 15% of salary), • 25 days’ annual leave rising to 30 with service, • Free life assurance, • Wellbeing benefits including cycle to work scheme, weekly fitness sessions and an Employee Assistance Programme, • Employee discount platform, • Regular social events Apply now and take the next step in your career by shaping high-quality homes with Shanly Homes.
