Pastry Chef Responsibilities: - Assisting the Executive Chef with the operating and management of the pastry section of the kitchen and liaising with the team to ensure a successful working environment. - Preparing ingredients and handling baking and other kitchen equipment. - Creating pastries, baked goods, and confections, by following a set recipe. - Ensuring their section of the kitchen adheres to safety and health regulations. - Managing a small team of 10 people - Admin such as Rota and Stock orders - Ensuring all orders of all of our four sites are correct and up to quality standards Pastry Chef Requirements: - 3 or more years experience as a Pastry Chef - Working knowledge of baking techniques and the pastry-making process. - In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, and nutrition. - Capable of working in a fast-paced, production environment. - Experience in managing a team (10 people minimum) There will be 3 stages: Trial Shift | Interview | Reference Check
