Job Activities - To ensure all customer contact is handled politely and efficiently, ascertaining and accurately meets their needs. - To have a comprehensive knowledge of the drinks menu ensuring that all drinks are prepared and served accurately. - To optimize guest satisfaction through consistently high operating standards and being responsive to their requests. - To demonstrate a high standard of personal appearance, always wearing the full and correct uniform and ensuring good personal hygiene supported by maintaining a clear and tidy bar area. - Mis-en-place for the bar is prepared to the required standard. - To ensure the bar is in good housekeeping condition throughout and after service – forwarding any issues to the Manager on duty. - To provide a clear handover during shift changes. - To communicate in timely and effective manner all complaints/comments regarding the bar to the Beverage Manager or Duty Manager as appropriate. - To be proactive in ensuring that the information given to customers is accurate and appropriate whether about the venue or the brand.
