Our team in Wembley have gone from strength to strength over the past 2 years. With client numbers booming we now require an additional RVN on a part-time basis to help support with the growing workload. About your new role! The Wembley clinic has been on this site for several decades and has a long-standing and loyal client base. It has continued to grow in popularity no more so than after our fantastic senior vet started, and they are now in need of an additional RVN. This is a 2-day week role on Mondays and Tuesdays (8-hour shifts) and includes a 1:3 Saturday rotation between Wembley and Harrow, and 1:10 Sundays working alongside the Mandeville Hospital team, plus 1 bank holiday per year. As a branch RVN some of your duties will include: • Ensure the provision of a high quality and continually improving standard of nursing care., • Assist the veterinary surgeon in theatre and during consultations, as and when required., • Maintain comprehensive patient hospitalisation records., • Ensure a high standard of comfort and welfare for all pets in our care., • Complete and maintain accurate records of hospitalised patients., • Maintain a respectful and collaborative team environment, • Ensure equipment is cleaned, packed, sterilised and stored correctly when not in use., • Maintain adequate stocks of drugs, diets and consumables and place orders with our suppliers to required levels as necessary., • Assist with the induction of new staff and their subsequent training., • Provide reception duties, as required, ensuring a friendly and efficient handling of clients and their pets, in person, by email and over the telephone., • Support student nurses and VCA’s as a clinical supervisor.
