Religious Studies Teacher (with KS3 Lead Responsibility) Location: Barnet, London, UK Salary: £37,870 – £56,154 per annum Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Start Date: September 2026 Salary will be determined based on experience and position on the Main Pay Range. The maximum salary is applicable to candidates with substantial teaching experience equivalent to M6. A forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in the London Borough of Barnet is seeking a passionate and ambitious Religious Studies Teacher to join its successful Humanities department. This is an exciting opportunity to take on additional responsibility for leading Key Stage 3 Religious Studies, making it ideal for a teacher ready to step into a leadership role while continuing to deliver outstanding classroom practice. The Role You will teach Religious Studies across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5), delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons that promote critical thinking, respect, and understanding of diverse perspectives. Alongside your teaching responsibilities, you will play a key role in developing and leading the KS3 curriculum, working closely with the Head of Department to drive standards and support colleagues.
