For reasonable adjustments or to apply under our interview guarantee scheme, please use the contact details provided once you have clicked “apply”!\nJob Purpose, Tasks and Responsibilities\nActing as a Trainer, you will:\n• Delivering accredited and bespoke health and safety training courses, both face-to-face and online.\n• Marking assessments from training, as required.\n• Conducting NEBOSH Open Book Exam Closing Interviews.\n• Completing accurate and timely paperwork and reports.\n• Assisting with the development of new training materials.\n• Participating in moderation and quality checks of training delivery.\nActing as a Consultant, you will:\n• Visit clients to assess their needs, providing expert advice on occupational health and safety.\n• Conduct consultancy work including audits, risk assessments, and inspections.\n• Provide sound written advice on health and safety law and best practices.\n• Prepare and proofread health and safety documentation.\n• Build and maintain excellent client relationships, identifying new business opportunities where appropriate.\nWhat’s the Best Thing About This Role\nYou’ll be joining a growing team at an exciting time, travelling across England to deliver world-class training sessions.\nThis is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on workplace safety, supported by a dedicated team that ensures your focus remains on high-quality training delivery.\nWhat’s the Most Challenging Thing About This Role\nTravel is a key part of the role, as you will be delivering training across multiple locations. However, our Co-ordinators will work to schedule sessions efficiently, minimising travel demands where possible.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nTo be successful in this role, you must have:\n• TechIOSH (minimum) IOSH membership\n• A Level 3 Adult Teaching qualification\n• At least 5 years of training experience (minimum 2 years in a relevant field)\n• NEBOSH qualification(s)\nTo be successful in this role, it would be great if you have:\n• Consultancy experience\n• Experience delivering IOSH and NEBOSH courses\nWe know it’s not a skill, but the successful candidate must have permission to work in the role’s location by the start of their employment.\nAbout Us\nPhoenix Health & Safety, part of Wilmington plc, is a leading provider of health and safety training and consultancy.
