About The Role As the Year 1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality learning experiences while supporting children’s reading, writing, and social development. A strong understanding of the Read Write Inc. phonics programme is essential, as you will help lead small-group and 1:1 interventions to ensure rapid progress. Your responsibilities will include: • Supporting Year 1 pupils through focused interventions and class-based learning, • Confidently leading Read Write Inc. phonics sessions, • Working closely with the class teacher to create an engaging learning environment, • Encouraging independence and positive behaviour, • Providing support for pupils with diverse learning needs, • Collaborating with a team of committed, caring professionals About The School This school is known for its warm, welcoming atmosphere and its strong sense of community.
