The team is already stellar and we feel like now, with wedding season just around the corner, is the right time to add the perfect AGM to the ranks. The Depot has really established itself within North London's events scene; capable of running classic white weddings as well as quirky and alternative interesting events, here you can guarantee no two days will be the same. On non-event days, the gastropub is open to the public and serves a cracking standard of beers, spirits, and food (including one of North London's best pizzas!) We could really use an AGM that is organised and capable of running multiple different styles of events without hesitation. The perfect Assistant General Manager should be warming and welcoming, but also not flustered by volume and how busy the venue can get. Ideally, we would love someone with event experience, but it is not vital. He is autistic, non verbal, has a movement disorder and epilepsy which results in regular seizures, a PEG for medication and fluids but eats foods orally. He can walk with support but is also a wheelchair user. He lives with his loving and supportive family, who recognise that his team of carers support workers are instrumental in his overall development and well being. Overview of role: He requires an experienced waking night carer to join his team to assist with his bedtime routine and tend to all his needs throughout the night. This is an active night as you will need to keep a close eye on him, and following protocols if he has a seizure, supporting him with personal care, monitoring for any signs of distress, and In the mornings administering his PEG feed and medications. You will help sooth him, making sure he is comfortable, and he can get as much rest as possible. All activity throughout the night is to be accurately documented. Additional shifts available to cover leave etc. To attend staff meetings & supervision. To participate in training as required. To arrive in plenty of time to begin shift, read the handover notes and to receive information in handover from the staff team regarding the day’s events. Keep his environment clean and tidy. Help to fold and tidy away his laundry. You may have to attend holidays with the young person, which is usually for 1 week to 10 days in the summer and support him during occasional long weekends away mostly with his family. Arranging duties for our staff and dealing with the everyday issues in an office. Wages start from £10-11.10 depending on age and experience rising in accordance to government guidelines this year. We are happy to increase wages after probation depending on abilities and how you prove your commitment to the company. We are also willing to offer higher wages after at least 6 months of service. Hours are 16 to 20 per week to start. The prefered hours are 12pm to 5pm but we may be flexible for the right person. Wages are paid into your bank account on a monthly basis.
