Underpinning everything we do are our values – Customer First – One Team – Respectful – Energised. \n\nAbout the Job\n\nTo provide a high quality, customer and quality focused service, through direct labour support to both minor works and responsive repairs team to ensure repairs are always carried out efficiently and safely works commensurate within our repairs department to the London Borough of Hounslow.\n\nWork with the repairs and minor works team to achieve a first-time fix and meet the KPI targets to ensure both internal and external customer satisfaction is high and customer expectations are met.\n\nKey Responsibilities: -\n\nTo provide labour support to the repairs and minor works team and carrying out duties directed by the planning team, supervisor, or senior management. \nTo undertake repairs where competencies and training allow you to do so to a high standard.\nTo always undertake your duties safely and within the health and safety guidelines and the companies’ policies.\nForm robust and effective working relationships with the planners and supervisors.\nTo promote a philosophy of putting customer needs first at every opportunity.\nTo work with residents and the voluntary sector in improving service delivery and promoting creative and innovative ways of tackling problems ensuring service delivery is maintained.\nTo check ladders and equipment before use and report any defects to the qualified operative, supervisor, or management immediately.\nTo check all PPE is adequate and in good condition, reporting any defects to the qualified operative, supervisor, or management immediately.\nTo ensure all works are undertaken safely and that risk assessments are always undertaken and adhered to.\nTo ensure the site is clean and tidy upon completion of works.\nTo photograph before and after repairs and store data on handheld device / PDA.\n\nBe able to drive and hold a full driving licence.\nTo maintain the cleanliness of vehicles and ensure tools are checked regularly to ensure they remain safe and fit for purpose.\nTo follow all reasonable management requests\nEnsure you remain up to date with all relevant compliance and mandatory training that will enable you to fulfil your role's requirements.\n\nExperience and Qualifications:\n\nApprenticeship / City & Guilds / NVQ 2-3 equivalent relevant experience. \n\nPrevious Experience and Skills Required:\n\nFull UK Driving License \nKnowledge of working in maintenance environment\nGood understanding of roofing repair procedures and materials used.\nGood understanding of Health & Safety and safe systems of work\nStrong customer focus and customer satisfaction skills\nGood working knowledge of local authority services\n Previous experience of working in a Social Housing Repairs environment is desirable.\nExperience of working within a customer facing role, delivering a outstanding customer experience\nGood level of numeracy, literacy, written, oral and communication skills \n\nIn return Lampton Group will offer you \n\nWe offer annual pay reviews and incremental pay increases\n23 days holiday allowance, plus bank holidays\nFree gym membership \nEnhanced Maternity and Paternity leave and Pension Scheme \nExclusive Discounts - save with Lampton Rewards and EE mobile offers\nStaff wellbeing perks - online GP access, EAP, health testing, flu Jabs, and eye care vouchers\nSustainability Perks - cycle to work and electric car salary sacrifice scheme\nCareer Growth – CPD training, structured development, and leadership opportunities\n\nDue to the needs of the business and the department, we may interview suitable candidates before the closing date.
