We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled and responsible Deputy Pub Manager to help lead the newly formed team and elevate our exceptional guest experience and continue our outstanding reputation in the area. It boasts a charming fireplace, flagstone floors and an intimate setting. About the role You will be responsible for: · Managing the day-to-day operation of the restaurant and bar. · Supporting recruitment, induction and appraisals of employees. · Training, developing and supervising our bar and restaurant team members. · Maintaining high standards of quality, presentation and service in the bar and restaurant. · Enhancing our guest experience and effectively handling queries and feedback. · Organising events and parties whilst also managing our digital presence and social media content. · Ordering and controlling stock. About you Requirements: · Previous experience in a managerial role within a fine-dining, restaurant or pub. · Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with internal members of staff and our external customers. · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and experience working with ambiguity (every day will vary in terms of requirements and expectations). · In-depth knowledge of beverage trends, wines and spirits.
