Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring the smooth running of meal preparation. Responsibilities - Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating meats - Help with cooking and baking tasks as directed by the chef or kitchen staff - Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations - Maintain inventory of food supplies and notify the chef when items need to be restocked - Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients - Assist in setting up and organizing the kitchen before and after service - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow Experience - Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required - Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation is a plus - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures If you are passionate about food, enjoy working as part of a team, and have a willingness to learn, we encourage you to apply for this position.
