About Us The Central Club & Institute is a long-standing, proud hub of the Cefn Fforest community. We provide a warm, safe, and friendly social space for our members and guests to gather, relax, and enjoy great entertainment. We are looking for a dedicated Bar Steward / Stewardess to join us and help maintain the welcoming atmosphere our club is known for. The Role As our Bar Steward / Stewardess, you will be the welcoming face of the Central Club. You will manage daily bar operations, serve drinks efficiently, and build great relationships with our members. This hands-on, on-site role is perfect for a reliable professional who takes pride in running a clean, organised, and friendly bar. Core Responsibilities • Greet members warmly and provide excellent customer service., • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks quickly and accurately., • Handle cellar management duties, including changing kegs and line cleaning., • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and deliveries., • Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the bar and lounge., • Handle cash transactions securely using the till system., • Open and close the club, ensuring the building is secure., • Support club events, live entertainment nights, and community functions., • Onsite working at popular times (Saturday nights, Sunday mornings etc) Requirements & Qualifications • Experience working in a pub, social club, or busy bar., • Good knowledge of cellar management and beer quality control., • Friendly, approachable personality with excellent communication skills., • Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work without direct supervision., • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays., • Understanding of licensing laws and responsible alcohol service.
