With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, safety and professionalism, the organisation invests in its people, tools and training to ensure residents receive an excellent service, every time.Your new roleAs a Multi-Skilled Operative (Plumbing bias), you will deliver a consistently high standard of repairs and maintenance across residential properties and communal areas. You'll carry out a broad range of plumbing, carpentry and general building tasks, working efficiently and completing jobs right first time wherever possible.You'll be customer-facing in this role, acting as a professional ambassador for the organisation, keeping residents informed and ensuring all work is completed safely, compliantly and to a high standard. You'll also take part in an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota and work closely with other trades to deliver a responsive repairs service.What you'll need to succeed • NVQ Level 2 or above (or time-served experience) in plumbing, carpentry or a related trade, • Proven experience carrying out plumbing repairs along with additional trade skills, • The ability to work across a variety of properties and repair types, • A strong focus on customer service and first-time fix, • Good understanding of health & safety, risk assessments and safe working practices, • Confidence using smartphones or tablets to log jobs, timesheets and materials, • The ability to work independently and as part of a wider trade team, • A full, clean UK driving licence, • A permanent role with long-term job security, • Company vehicle, tools and equipment provided, • Mobile working with varied day-to-day tasks, • Ongoing training to broaden your skillset, • Supportive management and team environment, • Opportunity to take part in overtime and emergency call-out Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
