Social Media Manager (Part-Time) – Brainology Location: Ark Victoria Academy, Small Heath (Onsite) Hours: 4 hours per week (Saturday) Pay: £15 per hour ⸻ About Brainology Brainology is a growing out-of-hours education provider supporting children through engaging learning experiences. Since launching in 2018, we’ve supported 800+ students, with 130+ currently enrolled across our centres. We are focused on building a strong, trusted brand that parents recognise and engage with — and content is at the heart of that. ⸻ The Role We are looking for a creative, hands-on Social Media Manager to take full ownership of our content and social platforms. This is an onsite content-first role, where you will film, create, and produce high-quality content during our Saturday sessions, which will then be used across our social channels. ⸻ Key Responsibilities Content Creation (Core Focus) • Film engaging content onsite every Saturday, • Create:, • Short-form videos (10–30 seconds) for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, • Longer-form videos (30–60 seconds) for ads and storytelling, • Capture real classroom moments, student interactions, and brand highlights, • Ensure content is high-quality, clear, and visually appealing Editing & Publishing • Edit content into polished, engaging videos, • Add captions, hooks, and strong call-to-actions, • Schedule and post content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts) Creative Direction • Bring new ideas weekly for content themes and campaigns, • Help shape how Brainology is perceived online, • Focus on content that drives engagement and enquiries (free trial bookings) Brand Building • Showcase:, • Student success, • Classroom environment, • Energy and community, • Help position Brainology as a trusted, high-quality learning provider ⸻ What We’re Looking For • Strong video creation and editing skills, • Ability to create catchy, scroll-stopping content, • Experience with TikTok / Instagram Reels style content, • Creative thinker with ideas (not just execution), • Reliable and able to deliver consistently, • Strong communication and accountability ⸻ What Success Looks Like • Consistent weekly content output, • High-quality, engaging videos, • Growth in followers and engagement, • Increase in parent enquiries and free trial bookings ⸻ Interview Process We run a practical, onsite interview: • Attend a session at Ark Victoria (Small Heath), • Create:, • 1 x short-form video (10–20 seconds), • 1 x longer-form video (30–45 seconds), • Edit and present your content This, alongside your portfolio, will be used to assess your suitability. ⸻ Why Join Us • Be part of a growing brand with real impact, • Full creative ownership of content, • Opportunity to build a portfolio with real results, • Direct collaboration with the leadership team
