As our Field Application Engineer, you’ll support HID’s success by: • Representing the company as a low-level technical expert for EAT-RFID products, • Providing low-level support for partner integration for embedded products, • Providing low-level technical support for escalated field issues, • Preparing low-level documentation for application notes and technical papers, • Preparing and present low-level technical training to partners and internal staff, • Providing on-site partner support and training Your Experience and Background include: • 4+ years of experience in field application engineering, technical sales, or a related role, • University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience, • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, • Strong verbal and written communication abilities (English), • Able to explain complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences, • Customer-focused attitude with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, • Ability to work independently with multiple priorities and adapt to dynamic environments, • Willingness to travel internationally as required by the role Preferred Qualifications: • Knowledge of physical access control and the security industry, • Familiarity with Security/Cryptography concepts, • Knowledge of contactless RFID credentials and readers, • Experience with hardware and software development tools, • Familiarity with system integration and testing procedures, • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Python), • EMEA and APAC regional experience, • Project management experience What we can offer you: • Competitive salary and rewards package, • Competitive benefits and annual leave offering, allowing for work-life balance, • A vibrant, welcoming & inclusive culture, • Extensive career development opportunities and resources to maximize your potential, • To be a part of a global organization that is pioneering the hardware, software and services that allow people to confidently navigate the physical and digital worlds Why apply? • Empowerment: You’ll work as part of a global team in a flexible work environment, learning and enhancing your expertise.
