About the Role We are seeking a talented Senior NPD Pastry Chef to lead our development team, reporting to the Product Innovation & Quality Manager. You will be the creative force behind new product innovation for our Airlines, Events, and Premium Hotel & Restaurant channels, supported by an NPD Chef who will work alongside you. Working from client briefs and internal development needs, you will take the lead in translating visions into exceptional patisserie presenting concepts to customers and guiding recipes through to commercial-scale production. This is a hands-on senior role where your desserts will be produced at volume and enjoyed by discerning customers worldwide, from first-class airline cabins to royal occasions. Key Responsibilities - Respond to client briefs with creative, commercially viable patisserie concepts for airlines, events, and premium hospitality - Develop and refine recipes for premium desserts, pastries, and gateaux - Write clear, detailed recipes using computer-based systems to ensure consistency at production scale - Present new products to clients and internal stakeholders with confidence and professionalism - Collaborate with procurement on ingredient sourcing and cost optimisation - Support the transition of successful concepts into full production, understanding manufacturing constraints - Stay ahead of patisserie trends and bring fresh innovation to the team - Maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality What We're Looking For - 2-3 years' experience in NPD, Senior Chef de Partie role within a 5-star hotel, luxury patisserie, or equivalent high-end environment - Exceptional creative ability able to develop original ideas and execute recipes from scratch - Strong understanding of patisserie techniques, ingredient functionality, and scaling for production - Experience responding to client briefs and presenting professionally - Passion for craftsmanship and attention to detail - Proactive, collaborative, and resilient under pressure - Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects ?
