I am a professional artist and single mother. My business is growing rapidly and I am now looking for a live-in assistant in my gorgeous London home In Fulham. You would have your own double room and the flat is very close to shops and transport links. I need someone (who can ideally drive and use my car) to help me with day to day tasks such as helping me get my chatty and very affectionate 6 year old autistic son Freddie ready for school, then spend the day helping me manage my social media platforms, organise logistics for art transportation and exhibitions and run errands such as going to the post office, grabbing supplies from the supermarket, cooking the occasional meal and replying on my behalf to customers who want to commisison paintings or order prints. I need someone who is good on social media and able to help grow my brand. I often need help on my stand at exhibitions and would need someone to help me do things like catalogue and insure my work, move paintings from one venue to another, help promote my events, reach print sales targets and also be happy to do other tasks like collect my son from school or take him to the playground. No day with me would ever be the same, I have a studio in Earlsfield where I paint my large oil on canvas pantings and also work from home in Fulham when doing smaller ink on paper paintings and admin. I really need help with administration and planning and want someone who would be able to do some market research to help me grow my business. You would come to interesting events with me and be dealing with my clients, shipper, printer and framers. We are a successful, family run painting and decorating business with over 40 years experience. We are looking for an experienced painter and decorator with a minimum of 5 years professional experience to join our team. We mostly carry out domestic work, so strong customer service and attention to detail are essential. However, we also work in schools, offices and listed buildings. Anyone joining our team needs to maintain our high standards, have good people skills, take pride in their work and have a proven track record of consistently producing a good quality finish; what ever the size of the job. For health and safety reasons, we expect our team to demonstrate a good understanding of spoken and written English. The majority of our work is within Watford and the surrounding areas, but we do have work further afield and expect our workers to travel longer distances when required. HOUSEKEEPER, WITH OCCASIONAL CHILDCARE An excellent opportunity has arisen for a proactive and resourceful housekeeper to work with a friendly and supportive family who’s chairman is the founder of a successful company based near Maidenhead. The role is 25 hours per week, 7 hours both Monday and Friday (8am to 4pm with an hour for lunch); 3.5 hours on Tuesday morning, and 3.5 hours on Wednesday/Thursday (morning or afternoon) between 8am-4pm. Some flexibility on timings can be agreed if the right candidate has their own family responsibilities. Your hourly rate is £13.00, but for the right candidate with experience the family is happy to offer more with an annual salary and 23 days holidays.
