As a Courier Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient service.
Responsibilities - - Drive a van or similar vehicle to deliver packages and documents to designated locations. - - Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. - - Ensure that all deliveries are made in a timely manner while adhering to traffic regulations and safety protocols. - - Perform pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. - - Assist with loading and unloading items from the vehicle, which may involve heavy lifting. - - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered during transport. - - Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient handling of goods before and after delivery. Skills - - Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with commercial driving experience. - - Strong driving skills with a clean driving record. - - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - - Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by delivery tasks. - - Familiarity with warehouse operations is an advantage. - - Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
