This full-time, Full web content Developer position is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is motivated and experienced in various types of web development including WordPress and Shopify. Duties: Design and Implement new pages, code, modules, and widgets on websites. Writing and Testing website scripts, ensuring it is ready for deployment. Working on multiple projects developing new features for website rollouts and improvements. Experience using various software, including WordPress, Shopify and GitHub. Prior to deployment, monitor and maintain the functionality of the website. Managing your own time effectively to deliver projects to schedule. Responsible for establishing systems to ensure appropriate security and recovery of websites. Capability to build front ends for database and add security to website and payment methods. Ability to listen and understand both client needs and the needs of department heads. Diligence in testing, debugging and logical troubleshooting. Skills Required: Minimum 2 years’ experience in website deployment Excellent coding skills, including PHP, HTML5, MySQL and other website development languages. Working knowledge of web development so you can communicate with the client and gather the required information. Previous project management experience Good Team player with excellent communication skills Knowledge of CSS3 & JavaScript and SSL checkouts and integration of payment methods into the websites In-depth MySQL database knowledge, including joins and indexes. An understanding of HTML, WooCommerce and Google Analytics. Ability to work under your own initiative
