Role Overview: This role is pivotal in overseeing database access and permissions, ensuring alignment with user requirements, and effectively coordinating with programmers, applications, and operational staff. This role requires strong technical skills and expertise in database management, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Review and oversee database security, integrity, and backup protocols. - Draft operational manuals and deliver database training and assistance. - Formulate strategies for fault rectification and data preservation. - Compose disaster recovery protocols and manage data archiving. - Coordinate with IT project managers and other technical personnel to ensure smooth operations. - Maintain database access and permissions in accordance with user requirements. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize database performance and efficiency. - Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry best practices. - Monitor database performance metrics and implement optimizations as needed.
