As a Senior you must have a Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent. As a HCA you must have mandatory training as well as Dementia Awareness for clinical staff. You are required to carry out a range of duties, which can include : wash and dress patients serve meals and help to feed patients help people move around make patients feel come monitor patients conditions by taking temperatures, pulses, respirations and weight. You will be involved in all aspects of clinical responsibilities, including decontamination of instruments, maintaining dental operating equipment, and managing patient records. Key Duties and Responsibilities Decontamination of Instruments: Taking responsibility for the cleaning, sterilization, and storage of dental instruments, ensuring all decontamination processes meet our strict hygiene standards. Maintaining Dental Operating Equipment: Ensuring that dental operating equipment is properly maintained and serviced, reporting any faults or issues promptly. Supply Management: Keeping track of dental materials and supplies, making sure that all necessary items are in place and reordered as needed. Patient Records Management: Assisting in the care of patients by making notes under the dentist's direction during examinations and treatments. Ensuring patient records are maintained accurately and confidentially. Supporting the Dentist: Working closely with the dentist, providing assistance as needed. This includes preparing the necessary tools and materials for various dental procedures and ensuring the surgery is ready for use. About You Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing or equivalent (for qualified nurses). Trainees will receive full training and support to achieve their qualification. Experience: Experience in a dental practice is preferred but not essential for trainees.
