The Role We are looking for a confident, charismatic, and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team for 6 hours a week. In this role, you will be the friendly face of our brand, engaging directly with customers, sharing the story behind our products, and helping drive sales through natural, enthusiastic upselling. Whether you're helping a regular choose their daily favorite or introducing a first-time customer to our specialty pastries, your energy and product knowledge will make every visit memorable. Key Responsibilities • Customer Engagement: Welcome every customer with enthusiasm, create a welcoming environment, and provide exceptional customer service., • Product Advocacy: Confidently share information about our Mediterranean baked goods, ingredients, and specialties, answering customer questions with ease., • Active Upselling: Naturally recommend complementary items, new products, and seasonal specials to increase average transaction values., • Store Presentation: Help maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing display counter and retail space., • Till Operation: Handle transactions accurately and efficiently using the EPOS system. What We Are Looking For • Personality: Highly confident, approachable, and genuinely enjoys talking to people., • Sales-Driven: Comfortable actively suggesting and upselling products without feeling pushy., • Reliability: Punctual, trustworthy, and able to work independently as well as part of a small team., • Driver Preferred: A full UK driving license and access to reliable transport is preferred (ideal for flexibility or local deliveries/errands if required)., • Experience & Training: No prior experience is necessary as full training is provided—we care most about a fantastic attitude, willingness to learn, and a passion for great food!
