Fleet Manager | Lead Fleet Operations & Drive Efficiency Across a Growing Vehicle Network Are you an experienced Fleet Manager with a passion for vehicle operations, transport management, and risk control? This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a diverse fleet portfolio, managing everything from insurance and claims to vehicle maintenance, supplier contracts, and operational performance. Key Responsibilities Insurance & Claims Management • Oversee all aspects of fleet insurance, renewals, and claims handling., • Act as the key contact for insurers, managing third-party and personal injury claims., • Lead investigations into vehicle incidents and accidents., • Manage all fleet maintenance schedules, repairs, and servicing activities., • Partner with trusted garages, workshops, and maintenance suppliers., • Oversee vehicle condition reporting and ensure timely repairs., • Oversee supplier relationships, contracts, and hire agreements., • Negotiate with maintenance providers and hire companies to deliver value and performance., • Monitor SLAs and KPIs, ensuring quality and compliance across the supply chain., • Support internal teams with vehicle-related queries and data insights., • Handle customer and driver claims with professionalism and efficiency., • Present clear, data-driven reports on fleet performance, costs, and insurance trends to stakeholders. What You’ll Bring Essential Skills & Experience • Proven experience in fleet management, vehicle operations, and insurance administration., • Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance cycles, service contracts, and supplier negotiation., • Excellent data management and reporting skills — particularly in Excel., • Confident communicator, capable of presenting to management and stakeholders., • Highly organised, detail-focused, and adaptable in a dynamic environment. Desirable • Mechanical or garage background, or strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostics., • Experience working both as a client and service provider within the transport or logistics industry.
