ABOUT THE ROLE A Driver and Logistic Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of logistics activities within an organization. This role includes a variety of responsibilities aimed at coordinating the movement of goods, managing inventory, and optimizing supply chain processes. Delivering goods and use of Vehicles: Drivers must adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations while operating vehicles. This includes maintaining awareness of road conditions, weather hazards, and other factors that may affect driving conditions. Delivering goods timely maintaining the original quality through careful handling of boxes, packages and loose items Effective route planning is essential for timely deliveries and efficient transportation. You might use GPS system or maps to to navigate unfamiliar routes and avoid congestions and delay Carry out basic vehicle maintenance, top-up fuel using the provided company card, checking fluid levels and report any mechanical issues or defects. A strong command of driving techniques and a clean driving record are essential for this position Prioritize safety at all times, both for yourself and the goods carried Attention to details, follow instructions accurately, maintain focus during long period of driving, and notice potential hazards is crucial Effective communications with Management and Staff to ensure smooth Operations of consignments Time management to adhere effectively to schedules and deadlines Coordination and Planning Coordinate and plan logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to meet the shops requirements and organizational objectives Collaborate with internal teams, such as Management, Production, and Marketing, to coordinate logistics activities and streamline processes Inventory Management Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment orders to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies or potential issues Implement inventory control measures to reduce loss, damage, and obsolescence Documentation and Compliance Ensure compliance with temperature recordings for both Vehicle and destination equipment, to ensure the best possible quality of the product Stay informed about changes in regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks Communication and Coordination Communicate with customers to provide updates on the status of shipments, address inquiries or concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address logistical challenges, optimise processes, and improve efficiency Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement Identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement in logistics processes and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and improve the delivery service. The role: As a Driver and Warehouse Assistant, you’ll be committed to delivering an outstanding level of service, and you’ll be professional, driven and enthusiastic. The Driver and Warehouse Assistant role reports into the branch management team and will provide the highest level of service to internal and external customers, and will deliver products to our customers against some very tight deadlines. This role will also be to assist in the warehouse and may at times be customer facing within the branch, serving on the trade counter and dealing with customers over the telephone ensuring that we provide the best service and maximise sales at every opportunity. You’ll naturally promote and embrace our inclusive team environment and we’re sure you’ll have some fun along the way! Please note, this role requires you to have the appropriate driving licence with previous experience as a driver You will be contracted to 30 hours a week, but you will be flexible to work a pattern of up to 37.5 hours a week to cover peak trading hours, holidays and meet business needs. We know that work shouldn't get in the way of life, so where possible, hours and shifts will be agreed with you with plenty of notice so that you know exactly what you are doing and when! Requirements for the successful Power BI Developer: Extensive experience with Power BI, including advanced DAX and Administration skills. Proficiency in creating dashboards, data visualizations, and storytelling with data. Strong knowledge of the Microsoft SQL Server stack, including SSRS, SSAS (Tabular), and T-SQL. Experience with Enterprise ETL processes, preferably in the Microsoft ecosystem. Familiarity with database and data warehousing fundamentals. Understanding of SDLC best practices, preferably using Azure DevOps. Previous experience in the international legal sector is advantageous.

We now have outlets across London and a Gelato Lab in order to share our amazing products with a wider customer base. What you will be doing: Day-to-day management and operations of the warehouse, including stock management, outbound/inbound shipping and returns - driving efficiencies, service excellence for B2B Business, and productivity. Key Responsibilities: Daily stock count of all the goods in the Lab warehouse. Daily check, management and reorder of cold rooms (DPI provided) Weekly stock count of all the goods in the Main warehouse in Kent. ( Mandatory at EOM) and decide what goods are needed to be brought back to central London. Communicating and interacting with Last mile delivery operation teams. (external provider) and Operation Team Overseeing logistics of receiving, warehousing and dispatch operations following the right procedures. Receiving goods (pallets/boxes), checking their condition, counting them, and placing them in the right place. (in summertime we receive anywhere between 8 to 20 pallets of goods per day) Daily preparation of dry stock that needs to be delivered the following evening by the night-shift driver. (usually, this is 80/150 Kgs worth of goods. Performing general maintenance of the furniture and equipment used in the Lab warehouse. Take charge of the overall maintenance and upkeep of the warehouse. Managing and updating Nory and FaccioBuono, ensuring that the stock movements to/from the main warehouse and shops are performed correctly on both ends. Learn and train any new logistics system put in place by the company, make sure it is up to date, and monitor the performance correctly. Supporting the delivery team in case of emergency or to move gelato, goods and provide delivery service whenever and wherever needed. Plan and manage rotation for drivers to deliver to all shops (review every 3 months) Enforcing health standards, safety, and security procedures. Enforcing company rules and regulations Requirements: Night shift during peak period if needed. Italian language required, proficiency in English.
