As a growing business, we are now looking for another Carpenter to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday with flexible start and finish times between 7:00am and 3:30pm. The Role As a Carpenter, you will take on a skilled role helping create inspiring, restful, beautiful spaces through installing blinds, curtains and cubicle tracks. Working within healthcare and commercial environments, you will combine expert fitting services with great customer experiences to promote repeat business alongside great workmanship. Specifically, you’ll be involved in every aspect of an installation, from the moment you arrive, fully prepared for day one of a project, until handover to happy customers who feel secure in our reputation for quality and service. From time-to-time, you’ll undertake pre-installation assessments and measurements, you’ll collect and organise everything you need in terms of products, tools and consumables, and you’ll troubleshoot any challenges, implementing resolutions that meet everyone’s needs. About You To be considered as a Carpenter, you will need: - Practical experience within trades, installation, maintenance, fit-out or other hands-on environments - Strong problem-solving skills with a practical mindset and the ability to adapt to challenges on site - Demonstrable ability to deliver high standards of workmanship and customer service - Demonstrate practical ability across all tools, fixings and installation equipment - To understand drawings or follow installation instructions - A full, valid driving licence Other organisations may call this role Window Blind Fitter, Curtain Installer, Commercial Installer, Fitter, or Window Dressing Installer, Blind Installer, or Handyman.
