It is a true Nanny / Housekeeper role and will suit you if you are equally happy caring for this beautiful home as you are happy caring for the gorgeous children. Mum is at home, so the childcare is both shared and sole charge. The home is a 4 bed, 2 bath home just off the Kings Road in Chelsea. Duties will include: - Cleaning and care of this family home Laundry and ironing Cooking for the children Tidy up the kitchen and all toys before leaving Childcare duties will include: - Caring and interacting the children Reading to the children Bath time Giving them supper Play This role will suit you if you are proactive, enjoy both sides of the role and have great attention to detail. You will be fun and energetic, love reading and playing and interacting with the children. You will be firm but loving. Support offered includes: housing and licence/tenancy support; development of independence skills; accurate record keeping and communication with permanent staff, signposting to other professionals and agencies; and support to access benefits, education, training and employment. The service directly manages Beverley House, which provides seven flats for young people and an emergency room and Green Leas, which provides 16 flats for care leavers and one emergency room for a young person whose placement has broken down. It is a 24 hour, seven day a week service. About the role We are looking for an individual who loves cleaning and can keep our building in tip top condition. You will be responsible for keeping all the communal areas, which includes a number of shared showerrooms and bathrooms, clean, tidy and safe for both the workers and the young people living in the project.
